• Sustainability assessment at the start of company
• Ready for a 'pending B Corp' status, a certification for startups
• Supporting equal opportunities across the globe
Entrepreneur Maud Kleuskens uses wine to make positive impact and stimulate gender equality. Her young eco-friendly wine brand works exclusively with female winemakers - a minority in the male-dominated wine industry. Part of the profits will be donated to a foundation which provides equal opportunities for other women across the globe. Maud wants her business to be a social enterprise from the start. To become a B Corp. But where to start?
We help Made with Maude with the B Corp certification process. It's a special certification for startups, called 'Pending B Corp'. B Corp certification is very demanding. Also for small businesses. Companies are required to show performance in 5 impact areas: governance, environment, employees, customers, and community.
Our consultants help take the assessment. And to determine which areas needed improvement before handing in the paper work for certification. We provided an overview for the young business to work on. What needs to be done now? What's the best way? What can wait until later? What should be done in which order? With the help of our consultants, Maud has reached the ‘Pending B Corp’ status.
B Corp certification is very demanding. The consultants have helped me tremendously.

This shows that 'doing good, is good for business'. Because, I'd be happy to share these wines at my dining table.
