Op woensdag 26 februari 2025, heeft de Europese Commissie een pakket voorstellen gepresenteerd die de EU-regels moeten versimpelen. Het pakket aan voorstellen, de \u2018Omnibus\u2019, bevat naast aanpassing van de CSRD ook aanpassingen voor de CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, CBAM en de InvestEU Regulation.
