Defining a Global Supply Chain Strategy
As part of the five-year corporate global strategy, the Supply Chain leadership team wanted to translate these global ambitions to their own situation. How does this new strategy affect the Supply Chain: our strategy, our yearly objectives and our future global Supply Chain organization? Can Been Management Consulting help us translate the global strategy into a concrete global Logistics & Distribution strategy and to cascade objectives to specific (change) activities per region? Sure we can!
Strategy-mapping workshop
We organized and facilitated a two-day workshop for designing a Strategy Map with Logistics & Distributions management teams from all regions (EMEA, Americas, Japan/ Asia & Oceania) gather together to define the future global).
With our Strategy Map we can coherently visualize strategic objectives, KPI’s and change initiatives, while incorporating the four perspectives of the business balance score card (customer, financial, processes and culture) in one overview.
Logistics & distribution strategy, delivered
The global Logistics & Distributions strategy was drafted with joint understanding of required change initiatives and ownership across management teams. Furthermore, our approach delivered the framework for managing the implementation of the new strategy and organization providing local teams with input to define their own team plan.
Key results
- Global logistics & distribution strategy
- Ownership for change
- Solid framework for managing the strategy's implementation
“In a two-day workshop Been Management Consulting helped us to structure our ideas for a global logistics network. We are very happy with the result: a roadmap that enables us to work in a focused and structured way on the necessary changes and improvements.”
