Been Management Consulting was approached by a reputable pharmaceutical organisation to improve the collaboration between two departments to optimise the performance of the entire chain process.
During a plenary work session with all parties involved, the current process was determined, and 75 bottlenecks were identified. Next, steps in the process were defined, agreement was reached on their input and output and a list of concrete remedial actions was drawn up on the basis of the SIPOC model.
In general, a desired working method was tailored so that the most important KPIs for this chain process could also be set up. The proposals for improvement and quick wins were directly placed with those responsible within the organisation to be implemented immediately. The work session also created support to implement other improvements in the chain.
